Audience Builder is designed to make audiences reusable. Taking some time to identify and create your frequently targeted user groups will streamline your campaign efforts later because the audiences are ready to go. Audiences can also be duplicated to be used as the base for another audience and then targeted with additional data points.
Below are some examples of audiences based on commonly asked questions.
The best trait to use for this scenario is the Customer enrollment date trait. Set the trait to include enrollment from 0 to 31 days ago (or whatever you've deemed as the most crucial timeframe to reach new users with specific onboarding tasks). Now the audience is ready to target campaigns specifically for your new users.
We recommend you create two different audiences (one for your Android users and one for your iPhone users) using the Mobile Operating System trait. Also, using the Monthly login activity trait will ensure that your audience includes users who frequently sign into digital banking using their mobile device.
Create audiences for each of your UUX language themes using the Preferred Language trait. These language audiences can then be duplicated to use as a base on which to add supplemental traits for more granular targeting.
I have several FIs using the same UUX and we manage them with Zones. How do I use SMART to target them appropriately?
SMART's Audience Builder feature is a great use for the Zone trait. Using the Zone trait allows you to create an audience for each of our zones. Each zone audience can then be duplicated to serve as a base on which to add supplemental traits for more granular targeting.
You can create your own Recommended for audiences using the recommender traits. For legacy SMART users, this is the equivalent of the Recommended Campaigns feature that existed on the legacy homepage.
Note
The trait must still fall into the top 20% of a user's recommendations before the trait will populate.
For more information about recommender traits, see Recommender traits in Q2 SMART
We have traits for each type of alert and notification Q2 offers. For more information, see the "Alerts and notifications traits" section of the Trait Store.
