If Q2central was not configured to support SMART during implementation, FI staff with administrative rights must create an Ad Element for an external marketing campaign in Q2central. This enables SMART campaigns to appear in online banking, along with any existing Q2central Marketing Messages.
Note
You can use both Q2central and SMART to create campaigns. However, target pages and themes must be configured, so they do not conflict with each other.
-
Log in to Q2central.
-
In the workspace tree, select Communication > Marketing Messages.
-
In the Marketing Messages page, right-click anywhere in the list of campaigns and select New Ad Element.
-
In the Ad Element window, type a Name that clearly references SMART, such as "Q2 SMART campaign".
-
Set the Starts date as the current day.
-
Set the Ends date many years into the future, such as 2050.
-
Select the Enabled check box.
-
Select Add External.
-
In the Target Page pane, enable each online banking page where you want campaign elements to appear.
Note
Only select the banner spaces and pages where you want SMART campaign elements to appear.
-
Enable the Themes that will be targeted by SMART, and select Save in the toolbar when you have finished.
