Note
This feature requires configuration by Q2 in order to be implemented.
Within Q2 Console User Management's Group Preferences tab, you can define which secure message recipient groups are visible in digital banking to end users, based on the Group the end user belongs to. This feature is referred to as Message Recipient Group to Group Management and allows FIs to customize recipient groups based on specific group needs.
For example, a group of users that hold direct deposit accounts might have a different set of available message recipient groups than a group of users that only hold investment or credit accounts.
When a message recipient group is enabled, the message group is displayed as an available selection to end users when sending a secure message. If a message recipient group is not enabled, the message group will not be visible to end users.
In order to enable or disable message recipient groups in Q2 Console User Management, you must be assigned the ability to manage Groups in Q2 Console Administration. CSR rights are configured on the Administration > CSR Roles page in Q2 Console.
For information on the required entitlements to enable message recipient groups, see the User Management rights section of Rights for CSR Roles in Q2 Console.
