Information Reporting is a tool Q2 provides to enable businesses of all sizes to more easily access their financial data when they would not otherwise have access to Corporate features. Previously, non-corporate businesses could view their transaction history, but only up to a certain point. Businesses then had to manually locate the required data, potentially restricting accounting operations. To rectify this, Information Reporting feature can be enabled within Q2 Console User Management for business customers at the Group level, Customer level, and User level.
The following prerequisites are required in order to access and use the Information Reporting feature:
-
Your FI must request for their environment to be configured for the Information Reporting feature for non-corporate businesses.
-
The following minimum versions are required:
-
UUX version 4.6.0.7
-
Information Reporting version 2.23.0
-
Policy Module version 2.1.2
-
HQ version 4.6.0.7012A
-
When viewing a Group, Customer, or User profile in Q2 Console User Management, select the Information reporting tab in the left navigation menu. You can then can enable Information Reporting and select the desired reports for business customers to use in digital banking. By default, Information Reporting for non-corporate Groups will be set to false and must be enabled. Up to 10 reports can be selected at the Group level. Additional reports will be unavailable after 10 have been selected.
Note
The standard Q2 Console hierarchy applies to which reports are available to the lower profile levels, so any number of reports from those chosen at the Group level can then be selected at the Customer level, and any number of reports from those chosen at the Customer level can then be selected at the User level.
To turn on Information Reporting at the Group level, expand a Group profile in User Management, select the Information reporting tab, then turn on the Information Reporting toggle. Then, select the desired reports (up to 10). Once ten reports have been selected, the remainder of the reports will appear dimmed to show they are unavailable.
Note
The Information Reporting tab will not be available at the Customer level unless the Information Reporting toggle is turned on at the Group level.
Once the Information Reporting toggle has been turned on at the Group level, expand the Customer profile, select the Information reporting tab, and turn on the Information Reporting toggle. You can then select the desired reports at the Customer level. You will only be able to select reports from those you previously selected at the Group level.
Note
The Information Reporting tab will not be available at the User level unless the Information Reporting toggle is turned on at the Group and Customer levels.
Once the Information Reporting toggle has been turned on at the Group and Customer level, and reports have been selected at both the Group and Customer level, you can then select reports at the User level. To do so, expand the User profile, select the Information reporting tab, and turn on the Information Reporting toggle. You can then select the desired reports at the User level. You will only be able to select reports from those you previously selected at the Group and Customer levels.
For non-Corporate businesses, outputs in BAI format are available within Information Reporting at the Customer and User levels. To configure BAI format for outputs at the Customer and User levels, turn on the Enable BAI report files toggle once Information Reporting has been enabled. The BAI file format for outputs will not be available or visible unless Information Reporting is also turned on.
