About Theme Editor in Experience Builder (Q2 Config)
The Theme Editor in Experience Builder (Q2 Config) provides your FI with tools to customize and manage various elements of how your brand displays within UUX. This allows your FI to provide your users with more consistent experience within digital banking. After changes have been made, you can then push the changes between all your environments using Experience Builder's (Q2 Config's) existing publishing features, provided you have the necessary permission to do so. For more information on what entitlements are necessary, see the "Experience Builder (Q2 Config) rights" section of Rights for CSR Roles in Q2 Console.
Features of Theme Editor
Current customizable theme elements include:
- Colors—colors used throughout digital banking to support an FI's brand or theme. In Theme Editor, you can edit primary, secondary, and tertiary colors inside a draft and assets.
- Assets—images used throughout digital banking to support an FI's brand or theme. In Theme Editor, you can edit brand logos, background images, and interstitial images.
Locating Theme Editor
To begin using the Theme Editor, select a draft in Experience Builder (Q2 Config) you wish to work in, then select Themes from the left navigation menu. You can then select the aspect of the theme you want to work on (for example, Colors or Assets).
Selecting a theme
Before making any changes within Theme Editor, you must select a theme. To do this, select an available theme from the dropdown under Theme being edited field.
Previewing changes
After you have made changes within Theme Editor, you can use the preview feature to determine the results of your updates. Changes made to Theme Editor display in the Change Log. Selecting the Preview button will generate preview links for the changes as they will display on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
For more information, see Previewing changes in Experience Builder (Q2 Config).
