Theme colors in Experience Builder
Within Theme Editor in Experience Builder (Q2 Config), you can customize the colors used throughout digital banking to support your FI's brand or theme. Specifically, you can edit primary, secondary, and tertiary colors inside a draft and assets.
- Primary colors—frequently applied across UUX to highlight calls to action, selectable elements, and default states to maintain brand consistency.
- Secondary colors—applied less frequently across UUX as an alternative color option for components and workflow elements.
- Tertiary colors—applied less frequently than secondary colors across UUX as an alternative color option for components and workflow elements.
Selecting a theme color
To update or change a color in your theme:
- Select the card of theme you want to edit. This opens the Editing window.
- Select how many brand colors you want your theme to have (1, 2, or 3).
- Select a color using one of the following methods:
- Enter the hex code (#000000) in one of the color fields.
- Select the colored circle, then drag and drop the color picker to the desired color.
- Select the colored circle, then enter RGB numerals of the desired color in the associated fields.
If you need to reset your changes, selecting Reset will return the theme selections to their default state.
Once you are satisfied with your updates, select Save to save your changes and make an entry in the change log.
Colors preview section
The Colors preview section of the page shows a light-to-dark range of colors that may display for the FI in UUX. For example, a lighter or darker version of the primary color may display for different field states or to differentiate between two branded elements.
