Q2 Console Reporting: SAC verbiage configurations
Within the Security Configurations tab in Q2 Console Reporting, FIs can monitor, edit, and improve their currently implemented secure access code (SAC) configurations.
It is important for SAC verbiage to accurately reflect the request for the code. This provides a positive indicator for end users, who may be attempting to determine if a fraudster is using social engineering to try and obtain information.
Letting the end user know why the code has been requested is important within both the subject and the body, as most mobile devices will only display a preview of the email body.
Changes to SAC verbiage can be performed in Experience Builder (Q2 Config).
Recommended SAC verbiage
Q2 offers considerations around SAC verbiage. For specific examples, see the Fraud Prevention: Account Takeover knowledge article within the Q2 Customer Portal.
