Within the Security Configurations tab in Q2 Console Reporting, FIs can monitor, edit, and improve their currently implemented secure access code (SAC) configurations.
It is important for SAC verbiage to be configured to accurately reflect the request for the code. This provides a positive indicator for end users, who may be attempting to determine if a fraudster is using social engineering to try to obtain information.
It is important to include why the SAC code has been requested in both the subject and the body of an email, as most mobile devices will only display a preview of the email body.
Changes to SAC verbiage can be performed in Experience Builder (Q2 Config), or you can open a case with Q2 Support.
Q2 offers considerations and suggestions around SAC verbiage. For specific examples, see the Fraud Prevention: Account Takeover knowledge article within the Q2 Customer Portal.
