This release includes the following updates:
Edited permissions and options for CSR admin users who only have access to a permanent test environment (PTE)
The following changes were made for CSR admin users who do not have access to a production (PROD) environment:
-
Updated the Environment access field options in the Add Console CSR modal within PTE environments for CSR admin users who do not have access to a production environment. Previously, PTE-only CSR admin users (without access to a production environment) could create new Console users and give them access to production environments in the Add Console CSR modal within the Console Administration tile. Now, the Environment access field in the Add Console CSR modal doesn't display production environments as a selectable option. (CONSOLE-1643)
-
Updated the CSR Users page in Q2 Console Administration within PTE environments for CSR admin users who do not have access to a production environment. Previously, PTE-only CSR admin users (without access to a production environment) could select the options menu in the CSR Users page to edit or manage all CSR Users within a PTE. Now, the options menu only displays on CSR Users who also have PTE-only access. (CONSOLE-1644)
-
Updated the Q2 Console profile and Q2central profile pages in Q2 Console Administration within PTE environments for CSR admin users who do not have access to a production environment. Previously, PTE-only CSR admin users (without access to a production environment) had the options menu in the Q2 Console profile and Q2central profile pages, which allowed them to edit or manage all CSR Users when in a PTE. Now, the options menu only displays on the profiles of CSR Profiles who also have PTE-only access. (CONSOLE-1645)
Note
The above updates only apply to CSR admin users with PTE-only access. CSR admin users with access to a production (PROD) environment or access to both a PTE or PROD environment will be unaffected by this change.
