System notifications is a feature in Q2 Console Administration that gives you the option to communicate one-way messages with digital banking users. For example, you can use system notifications to inform end users about upcoming scheduled maintenance or scheduled downtime. Active system notifications appear at the top of every page of digital banking, with the exception of the Branches page, on all devices.
You are required to have certain entitlements in order to access and use system notifications. Entitlements can be configured by going to Administration > CSR Roles.
For more information on the specific permissions that are required for system notifications, see the "Communication rights" section of the Rights for CSR roles in Q2 Console page.
