This overview describes the use and features of Accounts Extension in the Composable Dashboard.
The Composable Dashboard provides an alternative to the existing Home page within digital banking and allows Financial Institutions (FIs) to have more control over the end-user experience. FIs will be able to define a default landing page experience for their users consisting of several pre-defined content blocks.
FIs define the order and priority of content blocks using Experience Builder (Q2 Config). At this time, FIs will work with Q2 to create their customized dashboard within Experience Builder (Q2 Config). In the future, this functionality will be available for FIs to directly manage within Experience Builder (Q2 Config).
The content blocks on the landing page within Accounts Extension include:
-
Accounts
-
Recent Activity
-
Spending
Note
Availability of content blocks may require additional optional products, such as Q2 Goals, Contextual PFM (CPFM), or SavvyMoney.
The Accounts block displays up to five accounts. End users can favorite their desired accounts using the new Manage Accounts page. If one account is selected, the block displays a single account view format. If more than one account is selected, the block displays a multi-account view format. Selecting an account tile will navigate the user to all transactions listed under that account. Selecting View all Accounts will navigate the user to the Manage Accounts page.
The new design for the account content block will always include the account number and allow for configuration of up to three additional HADEs. In addition, FIs can configure a call to action and insert custom contextual menu options.
The Recent Activity block displays the most recent transactions across all linked accounts.
For CPFM users, the transaction category will also display. Users will be able to filter which accounts appear in the Recent Activity block by using the Filter accounts dropdown.
The order of the accounts in the Filter accounts dropdown will match the order of accounts listed on the Manage Accounts page.
Selecting a transaction will navigate the user to the corresponding transaction details.
The Spending widget displays the top spending categories across all accounts for users that are enrolled in CPFM. The See all spending text provides access to all CPFM widgets. An FI must have CPFM enabled in order for end users to interact with the CPFM content block. Eligible users who are not enrolled will see a call-to-action, prompting them to enroll in CPFM.
