Use the Contact search page to search for Customer or User information by phone number or email address. Results can be filtered by contact type.
Search results for a phone number display for the Customer and User levels. The Contact found in column categorizes retrieved rows with a corresponding Customer or User label.

User—indicates the associated contact information is a User.

Customer—indicates the associated contact information is a Customer.
Search results for an email search display at the User level.
Note
Emails can only be defined on the User level as profile contact information or as a Secure Access Contact (SAC).
To search for a Customer or User by phone number or email address

Select Contacts in the top menu to access the Internal account search page.

Select either the Phone number or Email criteria from the dropdown menu. Partial searches are acceptable.

Select favorite (
) next to an Account search option to set it as the default search criteria.

Set a search parameter from the dropdown menu. By default, the search parameter is Contains. Additional options include Begins with, Ends with, and Equals to.

Enter information in the search box based on the search criteria you selected. Select Search (
). A list of search results appears.
Once search results are retrieved, actions can be taken for individual results using options ().
The following options () are available for results with the User label only, and results with both the Customer and User labels:

You can filter Contact search results by Contact type. Filterable Contact types include Business, Home, Mobile, Pager, and SMS/Text(SAC).
To filter by Contact type

Select Contact type (
).

Search for or select the desired account type, or enable the Select all toggle (
).
Note
To quickly select a specific Contact type, hover over the desired Contact type and select Only. This will clear the filter and select only that Contact type.
