The Customer pane displays information about the record to which the User and Login belong. Every Customer record in Q2 Co-Pilot is either Household (personal or private accounts) or Commercial (accounts held by a business, nonprofit, or organization).
For a Household Customer, the Customer record contains information about an individual account holder who is the head of a household or a single person dealing with their personal accounts. In this situation, the Customer pane resembles the User pane. For a Commercial Banking Customer, the Customer record contains information about a company or organization that holds an account. A User and Login for this type may be the owner, director, or staff member of such an organization.
End users may not understand the meaning of the words "Customer" or "User" when referencing aspects of their digital banking experience. However, feel free to draw information from the User and Customer panes if it is useful in locating the caller's record or troubleshooting access issues.
The following table details each of the read-only fields in the Customer pane.
Table 8. Customer pane field descriptions
Field |
Description |
---|---|
Name |
The household, company, or organization name for the Customer. |
Tax ID |
For Commercial customers only. This is the Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Federal Tax ID. |
Address |
The address listed on file with the FI for the end user. Some FIs allow end users to specify multiple addresses (a mailing address, a physical address, or other) but Q2 Co-Pilot displays only one address. |
Group |
A group to which the FI assigned this Customer record. The end user probably is not aware of this assignment and typically does not need to know about it. However, knowing the Group may be useful to other FI staff if you need to communicate something about this Customer. |
Phone Contacts |
A list of phone numbers and types on file for the Customer. NoteTo change or add a phone number, the end user must either update those details in digital banking or contact a CSR at the FI that has access to Q2 Console. |
