Q2 Console leverages Okta™ for a secure and authenticated identity provider solution. Okta helps Q2 Console manage login and authentication for Q2 products.
For more security information, see the Q2 Console Okta™ Integration and Security Overview guide in the Documents section of the Q2 Customer Portal.
Q2 Console offers the following security measures:
-
Enrollment in Q2 Console requires an email address associated with your FI's email domain.
-
By default, email-based MFA is enabled for all CSRs logging in to Q2 Console. CSRs can also choose a different MFA method (like Okta Verify or SMS Authentication) if your FI is configured to allow them. To configure MFA options available for CSRs at your FI, contact your Q2 Customer Experience Manager. See Adding extra verification to your account for a list of available MFA methods.
-
When activating their Q2 Console account, each CSR creates their own security questions and answers.
-
By linking Q2central credentials to their Q2 Console profile, CSRs can access other Q2 products through single-sign on (SSO) authentication.
-
Activation and password reset links are temporary and expire 60 minutes after being sent.
