Note
This article does not contain information regarding how administrators can enroll new CSR users into Q2 Console. For more information on enrolling others as an administrator, see Adding new CSRs to Q2 Console.
To access Q2 Console, complete the following steps:
If you are a CSR with access to Q2central, you can your own Q2 Console login using a self-enrollment form. You can then link your new Q2 Console login to your existing Q2central login.
To self-enroll in Q2 Console
-
Go to your FI's enrollment form.
-
Log in using Q2central credentials.
-
Complete the enrollment form:
-
Enter your First name and Last name.
-
In the Email field, enter your employee email address. This address will be used as your Q2 Console login name.
Note
The fields on the enrollment form are pre-filled with information from your Q2central CSR profile, including your name, email address, and CSR type.
-
-
Select Enroll CSR in Console and send activation email to submit the form. An activation email from Okta <noreply@okta.com> will be sent to the address entered in the form.
-
Open the Okta activation email sent to the address entered in the form. Select Activate Okta Account to open a new page in your default browser and finish creating your login.
-
Complete and submit the form to activate your login:
-
Enter and confirm a password for your login.
-
Choose a security question and answer to be used if you forget your password.
-
-
Select Send me the code on the Verify with Email Authentication page. A one-time verification code from Okta <noreply@okta.com> will be sent to your email address.
-
Enter the verification code and select Verify to log in to Q2 Console.
Your CSR will now have Q2 Console login credentials linked to their Q2central/HQ profile.
Share this Q2 Console login page with your CSRs so they can bookmark it in their browser: q2console.q2ebanking.com/console/
Tip
The URL that was used to enroll in Q2 Console should not be used by CSRs to log in to Q2 Console on a daily basis.
Please also note the following:
-
CSRs can log in to this page with the Q2 Console credentials they've created. Their Login name will be the unique FI email address they entered in the enrollment form.
-
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enabled, so all CSRs should be prepared to receive an email from Okta with a verification code.
