Each CSR is assigned to a CSR role that provides the structure for rights (that is, permissions) to use the various features and functionality available in Q2 Console and other digital banking apps. For example, one CSR role may allow CSRs to access login-related pages to assist end users locked out of digital banking, but restrict access to other pages used for auditing
CSR roles are initially established during implementation, when staff configures digital banking for your FI. After implementation, FI staff is responsible for maintaining how CSRs are assigned to CSR roles. Each CSR is assigned to one CSR role. While your FI may be configured differently, most CSR Roles range from level 1 (L1) through level 5 (L5). The CSR-L5 role is a "super user" that is typically reserved for administrators.
Tip
For security purposes, be conservative about assigning any unnecessary rights to CSR roles.
