What's new

Additional changes to upcoming Funding feature

Q2 BAO is continuing to enhance the upcoming Funding feature, planned for release on April 28, 2023. Additional features include:

  • A new dialog was created to request billing information before requesting sensitive card funding information through the TabaPay iframe.

  • A new Funding tab has been added to the BAO Back Office that captures all information from the applicant workflow, including funding amount by product, billing information, and other data, but does not include sensitive funding information.

  • A new Confirm Funding button was added to the BAO Back Office that displays when FIs allow applicants to select Fund Later in the BAO applicant workflow. As a result, the following pop-ups were created to supplement the new Confirm Funding button.

    Additionally, FIs can subsequently choose to execute Core, Q2 Online Banking Enrollment, and Treasury Onboarding integrations at this time, if necessary, by selecting Execute in the resulting pop-up.

  • A new email can sent if the FI opts to only allow funding information to be initiated after the application has been approved. In this workflow, an email is sent to the primary applicant to encourage them to fund their account prior to account opening, rather than the applicant storing a card on file with the TabaPay payment vendor prior to the funding of the business accounts. Added new BSA questions for businesses that depend on charitable donations

The BAO applicant workflow now includes new questions on the Additional Questions about Your Business page that allow FIs to ask for additional information regarding whether a company depends on charitable contributions or volunteers and from what country those contributions originate.

Additional changes

  • Added a new date picker for all dates in the BAO applicant workflow, which validates selected dates and does not allow for ineligible dates to be entered.

  • Updated the "Which of the following will your account(s) be used for?" question to allow for selecting multiple options, while still allowing for the additional Explanation of Account Usage field to be rendered when one of the options selected is Other.

  • Updated the internet gambling-related business question to require a Yes or No response rather than select a checkbox. Selecting Yes or No on this question results in text that confirms the applicant's certification of the selection.

  • Added a new BSA question to the Personal Information page for all applicants that inquires whether the applicant is a politically exposed person (PEP) or senior political official.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue on the Business Information page in the applicant workflow where the Beneficial Owner question displayed after a business type had been selected that didn't require a beneficial owner. (CBLT-1060)
  • Fixed an issue in the BAO Back Office where, after editing a field related to a user account, the application was rendered uneditable until you navigated away and then back to the page. (CBLT-1110)
  • Fixed an issue where Industry Code (NAICS code) verbiage was duplicated in each Industry Code selection. (CBLT-1111)
