Creating an account in Google Analytics
Using your FI’s account credentials, log in to the Google Analytics web portal at https://analytics.google.com/.
Select Create Account.
Start setting up your account by creating an account name.
Select your data sharing options based on your FI’s preferences.
Select Next.
Configure property details within the Property setup section:
In the Property details pane, create a Property name that reflects your BAO portal created in Salesforce. Note: The name of the property can be changed later by an admin within the Property Settings.
Specify a Reporting time zone and change the Currency, if needed.
Select Show advanced options.
Toggle the option at the right to enable the ability to Create a Universal Analytics property.
In the Website URL field, add the web address that appears in the Salesforce Organization Base URL field on the BAO Custom Settings page in Salesforce.
Keep the default settings for the other options on this page and select Next.
The next page is optional. Select Create, then accept the processing terms and select I Accept to continue.
In the next page, Web stream details, find and copy the Measurement ID value to a saved text file. You will need this value to add to Salesforce as the Analytics ID in Custom Settings in Salesforce.
Note: If you need to get back to this screen after navigating away from this page, select Data Streams in the Property column.
